Job Summary
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking aPhysician Assistant (PA-C)to join ourNeurosurgery team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie.
The Physician Assistant is a licensed, certified, non-physician healthcare provider who provides direct patient care and possesses prescriptive authority. The PA is credentialed, privileged, and billed as an independent provider through Medicare and Medicaid. Working in collaboration with supervising physicians, the Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities include patient evaluations, obtaining comprehensive histories and physicals, hospital rounding, postoperative management, outpatient clinic follow-up, consultation services, treatment planning, patient education, and coordination of care. The PA will work closely with neurosurgeons and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with neurological and spine conditions.
