Required Skills:
- Valid Physician Assistant certification and license
- Prior Emergency Department experience, able to adapt quickly to the fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle low to moderate acuity cases efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual capabilities
- Knowledge of trauma protocols and emergency procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- At least 2 years of emergency department experience
Other Requirements:
- Availability for night shifts (10 PM - 8 AM) at Southwood
- Flexibility for day shifts (1 PM - 11 PM, 11 AM - 9 PM, or 9 AM - 7 PM) at Gwinnett
- Local candidates only, with valid certifications and licenses in good standing
- Willingness to commit to a flexible schedule and uphold the highest standards of patient care
