We Are Hiring:
  • Specialty: Inpatient Orthopedics
  • Schedule: Night
  • Call Schedule: Flexible call with no set monthly requirement, rotating holidays.
  • Practice Detail: Inpatient Orthopedic Surgery with occasional general surgery cross coverage in the operating room when needed. Orthopedic coverage will include inpatient rounding, consults, ED procedures, operating room assisting.
  • EMR System: Meditech
  • Facility: St. Agnes Hospital
  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Salary:  $110,000-$136,000 per year

This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

What You Will Do:

Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision
of a physician.

  • Obtain patient history and perform assessment.
  • Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
  • Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
  • Provide counseling and education of patient and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
  • Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. 
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 1 year of experience preferred.
