Physician Assistant (PA), Pediatric Neurosurgery

Our client, a busy multi-location pediatric practice located in White Plains, Northern Westchester, and Stamford, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong interest in pediatric neurosurgery to join their dedicated team. The practice emphasizes providing comprehensive care to children and offers an engaging environment for early-career professionals eager to develop their skills under experienced supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pediatric patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Conduct pre and postoperative patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and document findings accurately.
• Assist with follow-up visits and coordinate ongoing treatment plans.
• Participate in patient education to promote health and wellness.
• Observe or assist in procedures as appropriate, including potential observation in the operating room.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to deliver high-quality pediatric neuro healthcare.
• Maintain detailed and compliant medical records and documentation.
• Support the practice’s administrative and clinical operations as needed.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Credentialing and state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Previous experience in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates interested in pediatric neuro care are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and compassionate patient interaction are essential.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday
• Willingness to work across multiple practice locations.
• Knowledge of pediatric protocols and a genuine interest in pediatric medicine.
• Additional beneficial skills include basic understanding of pediatric procedures and comfort observing surgical procedures in a clinical setting.
