Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Primary and Speciality care focused team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a variety of patient types. This role requires a strong understanding of patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

• Provide patient centered care in an outpatient clinic

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• \n
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to develop effective treatment plans.
• \n
• Engage in utilization review/prior authorization processes to ensure appropriate patient care and resource management.
• \n
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced care practitioners, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• \n
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
• \n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• \n
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
• \n
• Understand nuances of unique patient populations including those identifying as LGBTQ+ as well as those in active addiction.
• \n

Requirements

• \n
• Current unrestricted Physician Assistant License in Arizona.
• \n
• Current unrestricted DEA License.
• \n
• Ideally (but not required) 3+ years of experience in a outpatient medical setting, preferrable primary care.
• \n
• LGBTQ+ Patient comfort.
• \n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• \n
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.
• \n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• \n
• Willing to have fun.
