Physician Assistant 
The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offers a variety of services, with many of them provided onsite at a PACE Center. PACE is an alternative to nursing home care and – through an interdisciplinary care team (IDT) of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists, van drivers, and aides – coordinates and provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services, so older individuals can continue living in the community.

About the Role
Senior Care Partners PACE is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide primary medical care to older adults in our program, working closely with a supervising physician and an interdisciplinary care team. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships and want to make a real impact on the lives of seniors, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Assess and treat participants with episodic or urgent medical needs.

  • Document participant status and communicate updates to the physician and care team.

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

  • Write medical orders and help manage ongoing care needs.

  • Support participants and their families using a patient- and family-centered approach.

  • Assist with general clinical duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

  • Licensed as a PA in Michigan.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population.

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain through our program).

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

  • Compassion, patience, and a desire to improve the lives of older adults.

  • Comfortable using computers and electronic health record systems.

  • Reliable transportation; valid Michigan driver’s license preferred.
