Physician Assistant - Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill, NY

Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County (OADC) has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician Assistant to join its team in Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill, NY. This well-established, state of the art orthopedic practice is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment where APPs are valued members of the care team. Highlights:

• Office based position supporting physicians in the Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill locations, with occasional coverage at the New Windsor and Kingston offices as needed. Any coverage at these sites is planned well in advance.
• Provide orthopedic care, including post operative follow-up fracture care, joint injections, and workers compensation evaluations.
• Some orthopedic urgent care coverage required.
• Four-day work week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday); 7:30am-5:00pm.
• No call requirement.
• ModMed EMR.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current or eligible NYS Physician license
• New graduates are encouraged to apply (with an orthopedic clinical rotation); prior orthopedic experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
