Physician Assistant - Salinas, CA

Compensation:  $155,000 - $170,000 Annually | DOE

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Physician Assistant in Salinas, CA. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong physician mentorship, a balanced workload, and long-term professional development opportunities.This position is ideal for experienced primary care providers or motivated new graduates seeking structured clinical guidance and meaningful patient impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services, including acute care visits, chronic disease management, and preventive health services

  • Deliver patient-centred, evidence-based medical care in a fast-paced clinical setting

  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative personnel to maintain efficient patient flow and care coordination

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance-based productivity programs

  • Optional participation in aesthetic services following training and demonstrated clinical interest

Qualifications:

  • An active California Physician Assistant license is required

  • DEA license required or actively in the process of obtaining

  • Strong interest or experience in primary care or family medicine

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required

  • Excellent clinical judgment, interpersonal communication skills, and team-oriented mindset
