Job Description

Join Texas State University Health Services (UHS), a nationally accredited ambulatory health care facility serving more than 40,000 students. As a full time Physician Assistant, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic health conditions; promoting wellness and preventive care; and educating patients to support healthy lifestyles. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic college health setting with on-site laboratory and radiology services.

Job Duties

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Obtain health histories, perform physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medications and follow-up care.
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and patient counseling.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Supervise and support clinical staff while ensuring accurate documentation and quality patient care.
