A full-time Physician Assistant position is now available with Liberty Healthcare’s team at DHCI – a highly rated skilled nursing facility located in Smyrna, Delaware.

What you’ll do
- Provide primary care to a case load of approximately forty patients
- Round on units daily and evaluate patients
- Conduct examinations, perform diagnostic tests, provide preventive care, develop and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, and prescribe medications
- Provide consultation and health education to nursing and ancillary staff
- Collaborate with the facility's onsite Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, RNs, and ancillary staff
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
Compensation and benefits
- Salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 (depending on qualifications)
- Monday through Friday workweek from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm

What we’re looking for
- Professional licensure in Delaware as aa Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority and PA-C
- Clinical competence in the care of adult and geriatric patients
You should be open to serving older adults; people who have loss of cognitive functioning: individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury; those who are experiencing mental illness; people who have substance use disorders; and those experiencing end of life issues.
