About the Opportunity
New England Orthopedic Surgeons (NEOS), a leading orthopedic practice in Western Massachusetts, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team of experienced orthopedic providers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated PA to build a strong foundation—or advance an established career—in a collaborative, high-volume orthopedic environment. You’ll receive structured training and mentorship from skilled orthopedic surgeons while gaining exposure across a variety of subspecialties.
Orthopedic experience is welcome but not required—new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Following training, providers are matched to a subspecialty based on interest, aptitude, and clinical needs, which may include:
- Hand & Upper Extremity
- Foot & Ankle
- Total Joint
- Spine
- Sports Medicine
- Trauma
What You’ll Do
- Provide orthopedic care in both clinical and surgical settings
- Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
- First-assist in the operating room alongside orthopedic surgeons
- Participate in pre- and post-operative care and patient education
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical care teams
- Support hospital rounding and call coverage as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA-C certification (or actively pursuing certification)
- Eligible for Massachusetts licensure
- DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment
- Interest in orthopedics strongly preferred (experience a plus, not required)
