Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant with strong surgical experience to join a dynamic surgical team in Geneva, NY. In this role, you'll function as a First Assist in the operating room while also supporting patients in both pre- and post-operative care settings.
You'll collaborate directly with the Chief of Surgery and surgeons specializing in vascular and oncology procedures. In addition to OR responsibilities, you'll conduct pre-op evaluations, post-op follow-ups, assist with inpatient rounding when needed, and maintain communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.What You'll Need:
- Active NYS Physician Assistant License (Required)
- National Certification through NCCPA (Required)
- DEA License (Required)
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
- Excellent clinical assessment skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
