Responsibilities
As an advanced practice clinician in the Citizens Baptist ED, you will:
Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a full spectrum of emergency presentations. Perform procedures consistent with emergency medicine practice, such as suturing, splinting, and I&D. Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure exceptional patient care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR. Provide compassionate patient-centered care in a fast-paced community emergency department.
Qualifications
Current NP or PA licensure in Alabama or ability to obtain. Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred. Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certification preferred. Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
