Flexible rotating schedule with a strong work-life balance:
12-hour shifts
2-week rotating schedule
Only 1 weekend per pay period
Premium pay available for additional shifts outside standard schedule
Opportunity to practice a broad range of urgent care medicine including:
Acute walk-in visits
Follow-up care
Simple procedures (I&Ds, injections, etc.)
Strong operational support including:
Medical Assistants
LVNs & RNs
Front Desk/PSS support
Social Work resources
Established onboarding, mentorship, and APP training programs through the Greater Austin Region APP leadership team
Opportunity to support additional Hill Country locations including Burnet Urgent Care
Outpatient-only role utilizing Epic EMR

Job Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) Urgent Care is a licensed, certified healthcare provider. They render direct patient care and have prescriptive authority. They are credentialed, privileged, and billed as an independent provider by Medicare and Medicaid. The Advanced Practice Provider offers medical care based on the supervising physician''s scope of practice. They typically care for patients in an urgent or convenient care clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS
Physician Assistants (PA)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
