This APP will support a group of five vascular surgeons, providing care to hospitalized patients before and after vascular surgery procedures, evaluating inpatient medical and vascular consults, expediting discharges, and coordinating with the clinic to schedule follow-up appointments.
This position is ideal for an APP who enjoys working in a high-acuity surgical environment and collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, case management, and other members of the inpatient care team. The role is comparable in structure to cardiothoracic surgery APP coverage, with a focus on vascular patients across the perioperative continuum.
