Job Overview:
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to provide comprehensive women's healthcare services at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Ft. Campbell, KY. The physician will diagnose and treat obstetric and gynecologic conditions, provide prenatal and postpartum care, perform vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, conduct gynecologic surgeries, and manage both inpatient and outpatient care for eligible military beneficiaries. The provider will work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams while maintaining DHA clinical standards and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Location: Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH), 650 Joel Drive, Fort Campbell, KY 42223
Coverage :100-120 hours / Monthly
This is a 1099 Position.
General Duties:
- Provide services within the scope of clinical privileges granted by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Deliver care in accordance with the contract Performance Work Statement and DHA policies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Specific Duties:
- Diagnose and treat the full range of obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
- Manage prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic patients.
- Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and operative obstetric procedures.
- Perform gynecologic surgeries and emergency procedures as clinically indicated.
- Evaluate and manage OB/GYN-related emergencies in the Emergency Department.
- Admit, treat, and coordinate care for inpatient and outpatient beneficiaries.
- Conduct a minimum average of 2.75 patient office visits per hour during scheduled clinic sessions.
- Serve as primary surgeon or surgical assistant for scheduled and emergent cases.
- Complete medical records, operative reports, consultations, and referrals in accordance with DHA and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Education: Graduate of an LCME-accredited medical school, AOA-approved college of osteopathic medicine, or equivalent with ECFMG certification.
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology by an ABMS or AOA-recognized board.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS); maintain all certifications required for DHA credentialing.
- Experience: Candidates must demonstrate current clinical competency in Obstetrics & Gynecology within the previous two (2) years including labor and delivery, Cesarean sections, gynecologic surgery, and inpatient/outpatient women's health.
- Additional Requirements: Current DEA registration and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Skills and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic medicine and surgery.
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform operative deliveries and gynecologic procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary military healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Typical rotating schedule includes:
- Monday–Saturday
- 0730–1630
- 0645–1845
- 1845–0645
No scheduled on-call hours
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform surgical procedures, respond to medical emergencies, stand for extended periods, and safely assist with patient care.
Immunization Requirements:
Must meet all DHA occupational health requirements, including required physical examinations, immunizations, tuberculosis screening, and annual influenza vaccination.
Security Requirements:
Must successfully complete required background screening, obtain a Common Access Card (CAC), and complete all mandatory DHA security, HIPAA, cybersecurity, and annual training requirements.
