Job Details:

• Provide cardiac anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting
• 
  
• Schedule varies according to daily assignment: 6:15 AM - 4:45 PM, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 
  
• 4-5 ten-hour shifts per week
• 
  
• Must be willing to take night beeper call 1-2 nights per week
• 
  
• Full-time coverage available; will also consider 1 week per month arrangements
• 
  
• Work alongside surgeons and specialty clinicians to deliver high quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas
• 
  
• Exposure to diverse and complex patient populations with a wide case mix and Level I Trauma designation
• 
  
• Patient population includes all ages
• 
  
• Special procedures include cardiac anesthesiology
• 
  
• EMR system: Epic
• 
  
• Hospital bed size: 593 beds
• 
  
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist required
• 
  
• Active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
• 
  
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• 
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

This is a large, full-service hospital with 593 beds, offering a wide range of surgical and procedural services. With a Level I Trauma designation, the facility treats a diverse and complex patient population across multiple anesthetizing locations. The hospital utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and is committed to delivering high quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
