Physician - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide non-invasive cardiology coverage for 1-2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis
• 
  
• Weekend support and nights coverage as needed
• 
  
• Average daily census of 25-35 patients
• 
  
• Treat adult patient population (18+ years)
• 
  
• Perform stress testing, TEEs, and cardioversions
• 
  
• Read studies including echos, holters, stress testing (including nuclear), and EKGs
• 
  
• Provide cardiology consultations
• 
  
• Work in 265-bed hospital setting
• 
  
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 
  
• Work alongside support staff including 1 MD and 1 APP for non-invasive services
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ required
• 
  
• DEA license required
• 
  
• ACLS/BLS certification required
• 
  
• CTA reading certification preferred

This is a comprehensive 265-bed hospital facility that provides advanced cardiovascular services including non-invasive cardiology, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology services. The cardiology department is well-staffed with dedicated physicians and advanced practice providers available around the clock to ensure quality patient care and support.
