Physician - Electrophysiology

Job Details:

• Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call required
• 
  
• Support staff includes 1 assigned clinical team for outpatient care and 1 assigned APP for inpatient care
• 
  
• Coverage needed up to 40 hours per week once per month and as needed for vacation coverage
• 
  
• See approximately 16 outpatients and 10-15 inpatients per day
• 
  
• Patient population ranges from age 18 to 100
• 
  
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
• 
  
• Perform electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker implants, ICD implants (traditional and sub-Q), loop recorder implants/explants
• 
  
• Conduct ablation procedures: AVN, SVT, and atrial flutter ablations
• 
  
• Work in academic/training, clinic/private practice, and hospital settings
• 
  
• Board certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology required
• 
  
• Valid medical license, DEA, and ACLS/BLS certifications required

This is a 270-bed healthcare facility that provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with a dedicated electrophysiology department. The hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services, supporting a full range of cardiac procedures and treatments. The facility maintains an academic environment with training opportunities and utilizes modern technology including EPIC EMR systems to deliver quality patient care.
