Opportunity:

Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient cardiology consulting services with hospitalist handling most admissions
• 
  
• Work regular clinic hours for 10-hour clinical shifts
• 
  
• Remain available for emergencies and carry pager for night call and related in-person callbacks
• 
  
• See 13-18 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Work alongside an APP scheduled at the hospital Monday through Monday
• 
  
• Must be board certified with minimum 3 years fellowship training
• 
  
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, and BLS
• 
  
• Inpatient cardiology and ICU experience required
• 
  
• Echocardiography experience required
• 
  
• TEE, nuclear cardiology, permanent pacemaker placement, and implantable cardioverter defibrillator experience preferred
• 
  
• Outpatient cardiology experience preferred
• 
  
• Work in a Level 2 trauma facility with 20 beds in the department
