Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

• In-patient rounding and call coverage for cardiology patients
• 
  
• Work schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 
  
• Start each day checking in with cardiovascular testing department
• 
  
• Weekday call responsibilities with no weekend call required
• 
  
• Share patient load with independent nurse practitioner
• 
  
• Handle 15-20 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Work in a very robust cardiology practice
• 
  
• Must be board certified with minimum 3 years fellowship training
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Required skills include inpatient cardiology, ICU coverage, non-invasive procedures
• 
  
• Must be proficient in echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI care
• 
  
• Invasive and interventional cardiology procedures not required
• 
  
• Electrophysiology procedures not required
• 
  
• Estimated 90-day credentialing timeframe
