Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive
Job Details:
- Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist position providing inpatient, outpatient, and clinic coverage
- Full-time coverage Monday through Friday with call responsibilities
- Average of 10 clinic patients per day and 12-15 inpatient admissions per physician per day
- Call ratio of 1:6 with night and weekend call on rotating basis
- Supervise 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians who work independently but require physician oversight
- Work alongside existing cardiology team with other cardiologists present during coverage
- Treat adult and geriatric patient population
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as required procedures
- Utilize EPIC documentation system for electronic medical records
- Must be Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified for Advanced Heart Failure cases
- ACLS certification required
- Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship with LVAD experience required
- Active DEA and Virginia medical license required
