Job Details:

• Locum Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician coverage needed for parental leave
• 
  
• ICU shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
• 
  
• Hospital Pulmonary/Critical Care coverage hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
• 
  
• 1-2 providers needed; 100% inpatient setting with no outpatient duties
• 
  
• Average daily patient census of 10-15 patients in both the Hospital and ICU settings
• 
  
• Facility includes 20 ICU beds, 12 CCU beds, and 6 CVICU beds (38 total beds)
• 
  
• Hospital Pulmonology daily census averages 40 patients
• 
  
• Up to 3 physicians and 3 APCs in the hospital per weekday to cover Pulmonary/Critical Care service
• 
  
• Must be able to care for Intensive Care patients and see general pulmonology hospital consults
• 
  
• Patient population is adult and geriatric; no pediatric or neonatal care
• 
  
• No call coverage required
• 
  
• EMR: Epic
• 
  
• Weekend coverage required
• 
  
• Board Certification in Critical Care required; Pulmonary preferred
• 
  
• Active South Carolina medical license, ACLS, and DEA required
• 
  
• Fellowship in Critical Care/Pulmonology required
