Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Seeking a Critical Care Intensivist with ECMO experience to provide coverage during 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and/or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM shifts
• 
  
• Must be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
• 
  
• Must hold an active Texas medical license and Texas DEA (or one that is easily transferable) and CSR
• 
  
• Must have active ACLS certification
• 
  
• Special procedures include ECMO management (averaging 5 ECMOs at a time), PA catheter insertion, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion, intubations, central line insertion, and arterial line insertions
• 
  
• ICU census averages 25 to 28 patients daily
• 
  
• Coverage requirement is 15 shifts per month
• 
  
• Support staff includes a second Intensivist during day shifts and mid-level support during night shifts
