Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Seeking an Intensivist with ECMO experience (management, not cannulation) for coverage beginning September onward
• 
  
• Primary need is day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) with some weekend days and occasional night shifts
• 
  
• Coverage structure includes 2 MD day coverage with 1 APP, and 1 MD with 1 APP at night
• 
  
• Covering 42 ICU beds consisting of a mix of medical/surgical, neuro, ECMO, and post open heart cases
• 
  
• No trauma cases involved
• 
  
• Daily average daily census of 30 to 35 patients
• 
  
• Post CABG experience preferred
• 
  
• Routine ICU procedures required including line placement, intubations, and chest tubes
• 
  
• Must be board certified with active Florida license, AHCA clearance, DEA, and CSR
• 
  
• Full support staff available including mid-levels, nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, nutrition, and case management
