MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital - Miles Campus is looking for a Locums OB/GYN to fill their need!


Schedule:
Roughly 1-2 weeks/month in 2026 

Open shifts for 2025 (must be able to cover all - or close to all - shifts):
  • Sept 15-25 (off 16th)
  • Oct 1-13 (off 3, 4, 5, 7)
  • Oct 29-Nov 1
  • Nov 5
  • Nov 22-26 (off 25)
  • Dec 28-31 (off 30)
Details:
  • The facility has a lot of OB coverage; thus, having a gap in GYN coverage, and will need this locum to have strong GYN skills (including caring for endometrial ablation, IUD insertion/removal, menopausal management, failed medical management, urinary Incontinence, etc.) 
  • The locum will be on 2nd call most (if not all) days listed above and will sometimes have days both on-call and in clinic. 
  • The clinic staffs with OB/GYNs, FM/OBs, and CNMs. 
  • CNMs take first call; the OB/GYN is usually only called in when there are complications. 
  • Lincoln Hospital is a small, 25-bed, critical access hospital. There are about 120 births per year at Lincoln. 
  • The OB/GYN department is somewhat small, however, they're a very skilled, tight-knit team, all committed to providing the best care to their community. 
  • Clinic patient volume: daily basis - 8-10 visits daily. It could be 16 if all are follow-ups, however, that is rare to occur.
  • Procedures done in the office: Colposcopies, certain biopsies, IUD/Nexplanon insertions/removals
  • Procedures done in the OR: LEEP (facility is trying to change this)
  • Procedures as either done in the office or at the OR
Bill Rates Needed for Submission:
  • Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
  • Orientation
  • Hourly
  • Holiday Hourly
  • Night Call
  • Holiday Night Call
  • 24 Hour On Call ($3300 - $3700 client preferred rate cap)
  • Holiday 24 Hour On Call
  • Call Back
  • Holiday Call Back
  • Conversion fee ($25k rate cap)
Travel Requirements:
  • Flight - No first-class flights.
  • Hotel - $200/night lodging cap after taxes and fees
  • Rental Car - Standard rental car (no premium/SUV, etc. rentals).
  • Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
