Physician - Electrophysiology

Job Details:

• Full-time coverage preferred; will also consider 2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis
• 
  
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no call required
• 
  
• Up to 40 hours per week; coverage needed once per month and as needed for vacation coverage
• 
  
• Outpatient volume of approximately 16 patients per day; inpatient volume of 10-15 patients per day
• 
  
• Patient population ages 18 to 100
• 
  
• Support staff includes 1 assigned clinical team for outpatient and 1 assigned APP for inpatient
• 
  
• EMR system: EPIC
• 
  
• Hospital bed size: 270
• 
  
• Procedures include: Pacemaker implant, ICD implant (traditional and sub-Q), loop recorder implant and/or explant, and ablations including AVN, SVT, and Atrial Flutter
• 
  
• Board certification or board eligibility required
• 
  
• Active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand required to submit
• 
  
• DEA required
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

This facility is a well-established community hospital with 270 beds, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. The electrophysiology department supports both academic and clinical practice settings, providing advanced cardiac care to the region.
