Physician - Internal Medicine - Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

Job Details:

• At least 2 years of experience working as an EP post-fellowship required
• 
  
• Proficient Epic experience required (within the last 12 months)
• 
  
• Must be available for two Monday through Friday stretches each month
• 
  
• Long-term assignment only with an initial commitment of at least 6 months
• 
  
• Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break; no call and no holidays
• 
  
• Approximate mix of 60-70% clinic and 30-40% procedural work
• 
  
• Procedures include AFib ablations and all standard EP procedures; no VT, PVC ablations, or extractions
• 
  
• Patient encounters are approximately 12 on clinic days and 3-4 on lab days
• 
  
• 2-4 exam rooms in clinic, with access to 2 EP labs and a hybrid OR
• 
  
• Board certification required at a minimum certified level
• 
  
• Fellowship training required (minimum 3 years)

This facility is a specialized heart and vascular center operating within a large, established regional health system. The center offers comprehensive cardiovascular care including electrophysiology services, supported by state-of-the-art EP labs and a hybrid OR. As a Level 1 trauma center with a Level 2 pediatric designation, the facility provides a high level of care across a broad patient population and is well-equipped to support advanced cardiac procedures.
