Job Details:

• Emergency Medicine physician needed for locum tenens coverage on an ongoing basis
• 
  
• Approximately 6-10 shifts per month required
• 
  
• Must be willing to work overnight and weekend shifts in addition to day shifts
• 
  
• Patient encounters average 15-20 patients per shift depending on 8-hour or 9-hour shift length
• 
  
• Department consists of 28 beds
• 
  
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency required
• 
  
• ABEM Board Certification required
• 
  
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• 
  
• Full support services available 24 hours including anesthesia, general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, catheterization lab, radiology, and laboratory
• 
  
• Labor and delivery department on site
