Job Details:
- Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join a growing team
- Locum need is equivalent of 2 FTEs
- Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
- Preference for providers open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated free-standing emergency rooms
- Main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts; affiliated FSEDs require 12-hour shifts
- State-of-the-art modern emergency department with complete renovation and expansion
- 18-bed emergency department
- Annual ED volume of 20,000 patients
- Physician coverage daily: 24 hours with 12-hour shifts
- APP coverage daily during peak times
- Meditech P-doc EMR and M-Modal Dictation
- AHCA Primary Stroke Center Designation
- Access to MRI, CT scan, X-ray, and Ultrasound
- ACLS required
- ED volume at main site currently averages 60 patients per day, ranging from low 50s in summer to 70 patients per day January through March
- ED provider shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Must guarantee a minimum of 6 to 8 shifts per month
- Must be willing to work at FSEDs associated with the main facility
