• 12-hour shifts covering both AM and PM coverage

• Single coverage physician staffing model

• Emergency department consists of 18 bays

• Patient volume of approximately 1.5 to 2 patients per hour

• Patient mix is predominantly adult

• No trauma center designation
• 
  
• ED admission rate of approximately 20%
• 
  
• Standard emergency room support staff provided
• 
  
• EMR system is Meditech with 2 shadow days for orientation
