Job Details:

• Emergency Medicine Physician position covering PM shifts
• 
  
• Shift length is typically 10 hours
• 
  
• Staffing model includes 3-4 Physicians and 3 APPs with normal ER support staff
• 
  
• Emergency department has 33 bays with a patient volume of 1.8-2.0 patients per hour
• 
  
• ED admission rate is 26-30%
• 
  
• No pediatric patients - dedicated pediatric unit on site
• 
  
• Not a trauma center
• 
  
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• 
  
• Minimum of 6+ months of experience required
• 
  
• Orientation typically consists of 2 shadow shifts; candidates without Expanse experience require 3 shadow shifts plus 2 hours of EMR training
• 
  
• Emergency privileges available
