• Emergency Medicine physician needed for a new freestanding emergency department facility

• ABEM board certification required; ABPS certification may be considered with a waiver

• New graduates will be considered provided they are board certified in Emergency Medicine

• 12-hour shift lengths with both AM and PM coverage needed
• 
  
• Must be willing to work night shifts to be considered
• 
  
• Single coverage staffing model
• 
  
• Facility consists of 12 emergency bays with an expected patient volume of 1 patient per hour
• 
  
• Expected ED admission rate of approximately 5%
• 
  
• No trauma center designation
• 
  
• Support staff includes nursing, 24-hour multimodality radiology tech, and on-site POC lab
• 
  
• EHR system is Meditech Expanse
• 
  
• Ongoing need with 1 position available

Facility:

This is a newly established freestanding emergency department offering around-the-clock emergency medical services to the surrounding community. The facility is equipped with 12 emergency bays and supported by 24-hour multimodality radiology and point-of-care laboratory services on-site. As a growing facility, it provides an exciting opportunity for Emergency Medicine physicians to be part of building and shaping a new emergency care environment from the ground up.
