Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
- Level IV Trauma, low volume emergency department
- 12-hour shifts with start times at 7:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 7:00 PM
- No 24-hour shifts required
- Annual patient volume of approximately 25,000
- Staffing mix includes 36 hours of physician coverage daily
- Single coverage from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM with additional coverage through a mix of mid-level providers and physicians
- Facility includes 7 treatment rooms, 2 behavioral health rooms, 2 trauma rooms, and 4 observation/admit rooms
- New emergency room and building
- Travel covered
- Emergency Medicine trained and board certified preferred; Family Practice or Internal Medicine accepted if ABEM certified or has extensive emergency room experience
- Must hold an active Indiana Medical License, CSR, and DEA
- Expect 1 to 5 shifts per month depending on need
