Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage at a freestanding emergency department (FSED) with 12 beds
• 
  
• Shifts available are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 
  
• 6-month duration of need with on-site schedule
• 
  
• No call responsibilities required
• 
  
• Average patient census of fewer than 30 patients per day with fewer than 10 daily admissions
• 
  
• Treat typical suburban FSED volume and patient mix
• 
  
• Perform all emergency department procedures including sedation, intubation, and central lines
• 
  
• Work alongside support staff consisting of 2-3 RNs and a radiology technician
• 
  
• One emergency medicine physician on staff per shift
• 
  
• Must be a graduate of an emergency medicine residency program
• 
  
• Must be ABEM certified or eligible
• 
  
• Should be able to function in an HCA FSED setting with limited orientation of 2-4 hours
