Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage at a freestanding emergency department (FSED) with occasional coverage at main facility
• 
  
• 12-hour shifts available covering both AM and PM coverage needs
• 
  
• Single provider coverage model at FSED; multi-provider coverage at main facility
• 
  
• FSED operates with 12 bays handling low to mid acuity patients with an admission rate of 8-10%
• 
  
• Main facility operates with 80 bays handling mid to high acuity patients with approximately 30% admission rate
• 
  
• Expected patient volume of 2-2.5 patients per hour at peak volumes
• 
  
• No trauma center designation on site
• 
  
• Must hold IM, FP, or ABEM board certification; if not ABEM certified, must have a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
• 
  
• Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies
• 
  
• Normal emergency department support staff provided
