JOB OPPORTUNITY: Physician (Endocrinology)

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, Inc. seeks four (4) full-time Endocrinology Physicians to Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to treat patients with diabetes, metabolic disease, and other general endocrine diagnoses; actively refer patients to appropriate healthcare providers as medically indicated; work with other providers, such as diabetes educators, health psychologists, and medical and surgical bariatric staff to educate patients on endocrinology-related topics; and participate actively in community outreach activities, professional conferences, and networking opportunities, as well as hospital committees, as needed. Works at The William W. Backus Hospital, 326 Washington Street, Norwich, CT 06360 and Backus Outpatient Care Center, 111 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, Connecticut, 06360.

The annual salary range for this position will be between $235,000 and $285,000.

Qualifications

The minimum requirements for this position are: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or the foreign equivalent; Completion of a U.S. medical residency program in Internal Medicine and U.S. medical fellowship program in Endocrinology; Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine and in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism; and the possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
