    The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at our organization is on the lookout for a fellowship-trained, board-eligible or board-certified surgeon specializing in Complex Benign and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. This full-time, open-rank academic role is part of a newly formed Division of Complex and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (CMIGS), which serves as a regional hub for addressing complex benign gynecological issues.

    About the Division of Complex and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery

    This Division offers extensive surgical care for patients facing intricate gynecological conditions, such as endometriosis, large fibroids, pelvic pain, adhesions, isthmoceles, ectopic pregnancies from C-section scars, adnexal issues, abnormal uterine bleeding, and congenital anomalies. We prioritize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and vaginal surgeries, and are dedicated to enhancing the field through research, education, and collaborative efforts across disciplines.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver advanced surgical care using minimally invasive methods for complex benign gynecological conditions.

    • Contribute to the education of medical students and OB/GYN residents through clinical instruction and simulation training.

    • Engage in quality improvement projects within the realm of gynecologic surgery.

    • Participate in clinical or translational research that aligns with the Division's objectives.

    • Assist in establishing a formal referral program and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations.

    Minimum Education and Experience
    • Possession of an MD/DO degree or equivalent, with board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

    • Completion of a fellowship in Complex Benign/Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery or a comparable program.

    Certifications/Licenses
    • Eligibility for medical licensure, DEA, and CDS in New Jersey.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Preference for fellowship training accredited by AAGL.

    • Proven excellence in clinical practice, teaching, and research.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on interdisciplinary care.

    • A passion for patient care and the education of medical students and residents.
