Physician - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage at two facilities with varying shift schedules
• 
  
• Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 
  
• Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 
  
• Preference for providers who can cover dates at both facilities
• 
  
• Must have active PA license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification
• 
  
• Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience or Emergency Medicine Board Certified
• 
  
• Clean malpractice history and NPDB preferred
• 
  
• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• 
  
• Emergency Medicine boarded physicians are exempt from BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification requirements
• 
  
• Level 4 trauma facility with 24-hour support services including anesthesia, surgery, laboratory, and radiology
• 
  
• Handle newborn deliveries in the emergency department
• 
  
• Family medicine skills preferred including gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatric care
• 
  
• Experience with prenatal care, deliveries, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescent
