  1. Ordering tests and analyzing results
  2. Referring patients to specialists
  3. Creating treatment plans
  4. Explaining side effects of medications and treatment options
  5. Performing basic medical procedures
  6. Recording medical history
  7. Identifying symptoms and diagnosing patients
  8. Providing pertinent directions and advice for improving the patient health.
