Physician

We are seeking an experienced Physician to provide locum coverage in an outpatient clinic setting. This opportunity is ideal for a provider who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and traveling between clinic locations as needed.

Assignment Details

• Full-time, weekday schedule
• Day shifts only
• No nights or weekends
• Temporary locum assignment running through the summer into early fall

Position Overview
The Physician will provide care in a professional outpatient setting focused on occupational medicine and urgent care services. This role includes treating patients with work-related injuries, seeing walk-in urgent care cases, performing physicals, and supporting employer-based health services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat work-related injuries
• Assess and treat urgent care patients in an outpatient setting
• Perform employment-related and regulatory physicals
• Provide care for patients from employer groups and other organizations
• Perform routine in-office procedures
• Communicate treatment plans and work status clearly
• Collaborate with clinical staff and supervise advanced practice providers as needed
• Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Deliver professional, respectful, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Active, unrestricted state medical license or eligibility
• Active DEA registration
• DOT certification by start date
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient environment
• Comfortable performing office-based procedures
• Willingness to travel between clinic locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Occupational Medicine experience
• Urgent Care experience
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Primary Care or related specialty
• At least 1 year of experience in an outpatient, urgent care, or occupational medicine setting
