Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a general gastroenterologist to join a collegial group of providers consisting of three physicians and three physician assistants providing general gastroenterology services in both the ambulatory and inpatient setting. 

The unit has the capability to support  We are seeking a highly motivated general GI specialist to contribute to the THMA region.

Practice Highlights:

• Our GI providers have extensive community ties and several years of experience
• Monday - Friday schedule with equitable call coverage (practice and ED)
• Anesthesia and RN support
• Outpatient screening and diagnostic procedures
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) procedures and ERCP procedures with stenting capability.
  • GERD clinic capability with manometry cart to perform pH impedance studies
  • Manometry, SmartPill, and Bravo studies.
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage provided by Hospitalist service
• 100% consult service only
• Quick ramp-up
• New Endoscopy Center
• Olympus endoscopy towers with CO2 capability
• Olympus 190 scopes (EGD/Colonoscopy/ERCP)
• Argon Plasma System
• All services are located on one campus

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Completion of an accredited IM residency program
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
