Physician Gastroenterology - Competitive Salary

A Corvallis based clinic with an established referral network is seeking a motivated and compassionate, Gastroenterologist to join a team which includes a BC gastroenterologist, NP, RN and referral/scheduling specialist. Candidates with ERCP training preferred, Candidates should value practicing evidence-based medicine and should be comfortable treating all ages. Outpatient surgeries will be performed at the Clinic-owned Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Required Qualifications

• OR medical license as an MD or DO
• Completion of an approved residency program
• Board certification in primary care
• OR DEA certificate before start date
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care and ambulatory outpatient care to clinic patients
• Provide in-service training to clinic staff to increase staff awareness and to facilitate better patient care
• Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care
• Participate in utilization and peer review programs which evaluates the quality of the medical staff and medical services being performed at the clinics
• Provide supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Provide consultation services to practitioners by telephone accessibility as necessary
