Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage with inpatient rounding and procedures as needed
• 
  
• Cover hospital inpatients, including rounding on current GI patients handed off by local physicians
• 
  
• Handle new emergency department and inpatient consults as they arise
• 
  
• Perform bread and butter GI procedures; ERCP training preferred
• 
  
• 100% adult inpatient coverage; pediatric patients may be seen in the emergency department but no inpatient pediatric line
• 
  
• No clinic coverage required
• 
  
• Weekends are part of the schedule
• 
  
• EMR system: Epic
• 
  
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology required
• 
  
• Active Georgia license required at time of submission
• 
  
• Georgia DEA/CSR required
• 
  
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 
  
• Must be local; no flights
• 
  
• Clean malpractice and background history required
• 
  
• NPDB self-query report required at time of presentation (pulled within 30 days)
