Opportunity:

Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Provide clinic coverage for gastroenterology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 
  
• Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month; multiple providers will be considered
• 
  
• See approximately 9 advanced cases per day with a patient population of adults ages 18 and older (average patient age of 58)
• 
  
• Primary focus on advanced gastroenterology procedures including ERCP (general and therapeutic) and EUS
• 
  
• Provide support to call team by adding urgent inpatient cases to the schedule; this is not an on-call position
• 
  
• Work alongside a robust support team including APPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs across three GI locations
• 
  
• Two APPs trained in advanced GI perform preliminary patient evaluations prior to scheduling with the advanced physician
• 
  
• EMR system: Cerner
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• Active state license required; IMLC candidates or candidates qualifying for WV licensure will be considered
• 
  
• DEA required
• 
  
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 
  
• Full travel paid
