Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on Mondays, Wednesdays, half of Thursdays, and Fridays
• 
  
• See patients in office on Tuesdays and half of Thursdays
• 
  
• Take night call every night and round on patient consults in the hospital
• 
  
• Handle 20-25 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices required
• 
  
• PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures required
• 
  
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry required
• 
  
• Small bowel biopsy required
• 
  
• Lower GI endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy (flexible required, rigid preferred) required
• 
  
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp required
• 
  
• Board certification eligible minimum required
• 
  
• Fellowship training required
• 
  
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30 days
• 
  
• Overtime calculated after 40 hours, not daily
