Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• See approximately 12 patients per shift in a 99-bed department
• 
  
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
• 
  
• BLS certification required
• 
  
• Fellowship training required (3 years)
• 
  
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders
• 
  
• Conduct injection of varices and PEG procedures
• 
  
• Perform ERCP procedures both diagnostic and therapeutic
• 
  
• Execute small bowel biopsies and lower GI endoscopy procedures
• 
  
• Conduct sigmoidoscopy (both flexible and rigid) and colonoscopy with biopsy
• 
  
• Perform excision of polyps and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes
• 
  
• Ongoing locum tenens opportunity available immediately
• 
  
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 45 days
