Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
- See approximately 12 patients per shift in a 99-bed department
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
- BLS certification required
- Fellowship training required (3 years)
- Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders
- Conduct injection of varices and PEG procedures
- Perform ERCP procedures both diagnostic and therapeutic
- Execute small bowel biopsies and lower GI endoscopy procedures
- Conduct sigmoidoscopy (both flexible and rigid) and colonoscopy with biopsy
- Perform excision of polyps and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes
- Ongoing locum tenens opportunity available immediately
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 45 days
