Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage with potential outpatient procedures
• 
  
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no nights or weekends
• 
  
• Full-time position requiring 14 shifts per month minimum
• 
  
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 40 hours per week
• 
  
• See approximately 5 patients per shift in a Gastro Hospitalist role
• 
  
• Work between two medical facilities in the area
• 
  
• Must have completed GI Fellowship training
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• Active medical license or IMLC required
• 
  
• DEA registration required
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Required skills include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery/laser procedures, diagnostic ERCP, esophageal procedures, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• 
  
• Ongoing assignment starting immediately until permanent provider is hired
• 
  
• Potential for permanent position consideration for qualified candidates
