Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
Job Details:
- Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Weekend call available as 24-hour call shifts
- Weekday night call to be shared among providers, consisting of RN questions regarding patients calling in, patients receiving chemotherapy, and minimal ED consults
- 17 patient encounters per shift with 1-hour appointments for new patients and 20-minute follow-up appointments
- Support staff includes Medical Assistants and several RNs
- EMR system is Mosaic
- 18-bed chemotherapy suite on site
- Dedicated pharmacists who conduct educational starts for chemotherapy
- Co-located with radiation oncology under the same roof
- Commission on Cancer (COC) accredited Cancer Center
- Weekly tumor boards held on site
- Clinical trials available including Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials
- Board Certified or Board Eligible required
- BLS certification required
