Physician - Oncology, Internal Medicine - Hematology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for 1-2 weeks in September (9/14-9/25) with potential for additional sporadic weeks as needed
• 
  
• Locum coverage ensures continued oncology access for patients while employed physician is away
• 
  
• Monday through Thursday schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one hour lunch; overtime applies after 9-hour day
• 
  
• Friday schedule: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (half days)
• 
  
• No call required
• 
  
• Approximately 14 patient encounters per day
• 
  
• Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible
• 
  
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Internal Medicine - Hematology specialty skills required
• 
  
• Preferred skills include: management of bone marrow transplants, participation on a tumor board, blood bank, management of VAD/CV catheters, FNA/biopsy, and chemotherapy (intrathecal and intracavitary)
